Producer Chris Young – Musician and Consultant

Producer Chris Young is a musician and entertainment consultant working in New York City. Over the course of his career, he has worked with a wide array of talented musicians, developing them to top the Billboard charts, in television shows, and in major films. He is considered one of the most influential music producers in the industry today. Young has appeared in many performances and international tours as a trumpet player with acts like Guns N’ Roses, Elton John, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

To become a producer, Chris Young poured his effort into learning how to operate sound production boards, songwriting, and professional engineering. He signed a major publishing deal with EMI and later with Ultra International Music Publishing. Some of the music he produced and directed as an orchestral composer is on television, featured in major films, and in national advertising campaigns for many Fortune 500 companies.

Young was featured on four seasons of “The Real Housewives of New York,” and produced the hit song “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” by Countess Luann. The song was in the top-ten most played songs on iTunes. Music Producer Chris Young has worked extensively with established musical acts as well as up-and-coming performers. Some of the undiscovered artists he has worked with have seen mainstream success and have been among the finalists on “American Idol,” “The Voice,” “X Factor,” and “P. Diddy’s Starmaker.” In 2010, Young joined the Academy of Recording Arts and Science as a Producer and Engineer. He has both submitted and voted for i the last four Grammy Awards.
